The Epoxy Slip Reducing Additive adds anti-slip grip to your epoxy floor - important anywhere the surface might get wet, like a garage where you wash the car, an entryway, or an external slab. A smooth epoxy or plain colour garage floor coating can be slippery when wet; this additive fixes that without changing the look.
Spread over the area and rolled even into your clear top coat, the fine anti-slip grit creates a subtle textured surface that improves traction underfoot while staying easy to clean. It is the simplest way to make a plain colour or flake floor safe in wet conditions, and a useful extra on epoxy floors in wet areas.
How to use
- Spread evenly over your cured base coat and roll in multiple directions with your clear top coat.
- Perfect amount for upto 40m2. Divide accordingly based on your area size
- Adjust the amount for more or less grip depending on the area
Recommended for internal-external transitions, wash bays and any floor exposed to water. Works with both our flake and plain colour floor kits.
Slip reducing additive is sold in 150g packs which is the recommended amount for upto 40m2 for a medium slip reduction. Application rate can be increased to a maximum of double to suit areas which are susceptible to pooling water or externally exposed areas.
