What goes into a garage floor epoxy job

  • Surface prep - degreaser and etch/clean to give the epoxy a sound surface to bond to.
  • Primer - seals the slab and improves adhesion and coverage.
  • Epoxy base coat - the coloured structural layer, in flake or plain colour.
  • Flakes & additives - decorative flake blends, anti-slip grit and glitter to customise the finish.
  • Clear top coat - the protective layer that locks everything in and adds durability and shine.
