  • How Long Does DIY Epoxy Garage Floor Installation Take

    DIY Epoxy Australia's coatings take approximately 5-6 hours total, over 3 days to install the complete system.

    Day 1 - Etch & Clean and Patch
    Day 2 - Apply Epoxy Primer & Apply Base & Flake
    Day 3 - Apply Clear Coat

  • Is DIY Epoxy Coating Slippery on Outdoor or Garage Floors

    As with any sealed surface, our finished product can be slippery when wet. Although the flake does add some texture for grip, it is recommended to add our non slip to any external areas or areas expected to get wet for added slip resistance.

  • Do DIY Epoxy Floor Coatings Have Strong Smells or Fumes

    As opposed to most epoxy products, Our products are developed as low VOC & non flammable. All of our products have very little smell other than a house paint type odour.

  • Can I Apply Epoxy Over Previously Painted Garage Floors

    It is best to apply our products to bare concrete. Although a previously painted surface can be sanded and applied over, we cannot guarantee adhesion . It is best to hire a floor grinder to completely remove any old coatings, glues or sealants.

  • How Do I Prepare Oil-Stained Concrete Before Applying Epoxy

    Oil can cause blotchy areas or fish-eyeing of our products. It's important to thoroughly degrease any areas affected by oil contamination and confirm the area is degreased with the water droplet test as outlined in our installation guide.
